Hobbiton and Tauranga Private Tour

You will need around 6 hours for a Hobbiton tour this then allows time for some Tauranga sightseeing on the return to your ship.

The set has been completely rebuilt for The Hobbit and will remain as is was seen in the films. During your tour you will see Hobbit holes, The Green Dragon Inn, The Mill, double arched bridge and other structures and gardens built for the films.

On the return journey to your ship we will show you, depending on how much time is available around Tauranga and Mount Maunganui. A drive through the downtown area, some of the suburbs and of course the famous Mount Maunganui beaches.

While lunch is not included in the price time can be made available for a lunch stop.

Charter prices for up to an 11 seater van is $100 per hour, a 19 seater $125 per hour or a 22 seater $135 per hour. Remember these are a per vehicle charge per hour, not per person. These prices shared between a group of people makes your own private tour very affordable.

Example: 10 people for 6 hours total $600.00 = just $60 per person. Plus your Hobbiton entry fee.
